A fun way to alter the look of you WOW chipboard

Hi Guys!!
I hope your having a great week and getting some creative time squeezed into this busy time of the year!!Today I wanted to share with you a way you can alter the look of your chipboard elements on your pages, Remember you can always trim up the chipboard with a craft knife to suit your style...

        12x12-Interconnecting-Squares-WOW1187

I started off using the Interconnecting Squares 12x12 chipboard and trimmed it to suit the design I had in mind.

I then coated it in Gesso and let dry

Next I ran the chipboard through the Big Shot using an embossing folder. Once that was done I coated it in Versamark ink and then embossing powder and set it with the heat gun.

Once it had cooled I inked it with black stayzon ink the re melted it with a heat tool, to create a cool marbled effect.
I then slapped some paint onto my card stock and let dry. Once it was dry I arranged everything on my page and got it positioned right before glueing it all down.

Nothing was wasted with my chipboard that I had cut up for the background as you can see by these little squares and arrows which I then painted lime green.

I have also been busy playing with some new releases that have come my way. I used some fun summer time chipboard elements on this layout.

Thats all from me today thanks for stopping by, I encourage you to give this technique a go and don't forget to share it over on our Facebook page WOW Creations

Have a great Day!
Tanya
