October 29th

Welcome to the blog today.

Kerryn here and I getting into Halloween mode a few days early. I have two page to share with you today, both featuring fabulous October new releases.

I've used a few of last year's photos to inspire the spooky side of me. Master 10 doing his best zombie Doctor.

The first page shows off one of my favourite new chipboard pieces, the Boo title. Covered with white ink as the base and then I have swiped the edges with black ink. I have also backed the title with paper to pop off the page.

These Wood Veneer little ghost are just the cutest!! Simply swiped with white ink for the ghouly effect.

 photo _DSC0029_zps01ef812e.jpg

The Hanging Bats are also there hanging across the top of the page covered in black ink with white eyes doodled with pen.

Zombie Doctor

The second page is the same Zombie Doctor acting up for the camera. Can you tell he loves Halloween!

The bat theme is pretty strong here with the Hanging Bats and a few extras bats from the Halloween Pack.

 photo _DSC0035_zpsfb278302.jpg

I have also added some non halloween pieces using the Flower Stems around the headstone, They were covered with green ink and then stamped with black ink and my dotty stamp. The final finish a coat of Glossy Accents.

October 26th

Hi Guys,

I really love using my left over papers and scraps from previous layouts if I can. So here is an example of where I just couldn't leave the second piece of patterned paper, (that I had cut out certain words to make the first layout more 3D) unloved and unused. My lovely WOW chipboard came to the rescue too to lift it up.

October 24th

Hello WOW followers, it's Kerryn back with more projects to share with you.

First up today is a page featuring a few different products. I have used the new Dark Wood Veneer word RAD to form part of the title, left natural.

 photo _DSC0024_zps04ca3ac2.jpg

The small Messy Arrows Frame was covered with blank ink and cut in half to highlight different parts on the page.

A holiday snap from our recent trip to Mount Gambier. The boys leading the way.

My second page features the new Wood Veneer title Roadtrip, nothing fancy done here, the natural colour of the wood was the perfect addition to the page.

I have also added a Wood Veneer Love This Circle to this page, swiped with some Distress Ink for a little highlighted colour.

October 22nd

Tess back today with another quick share - this time with a Christmas theme. It's not long to go until the Silly Season and I noticed that last year I really only did my December Daily album (which if you were following along on the blog you would have seen most of the pages). I thought it time to get a few scrap pages completed so that I can put last years festive time to bed and start on 2014.

Of course all of these beautiful pieces are available through your local WOW stockist.

Merry & Bright
Using chipboard Christmas Tree Squiggle

My favourite accent colour at Christmas is gold, and the quickest and easiest way to colour the world gold is embossing powder. I love using it on chipboard and this layout is no exception.

Something I haven't used a lot of is microbeads. I thought these were perfect to make the star pop and separate it from the rest of the chipboard piece.

Christmas in the harbour city
Using chipboard Christmas Bow Flourish, chipboard Christmas Angel title and light wood veneer Christmas Tree

We see so much of how Northern Hemisphere cities decorate in the festive season, so I love nothing more than seeing how we do it Down Under. That was the inspiration for this page.

Again using pops of gold through embossing powders on chipboard and light wood veneer add to the page.

Don't forget you can cut chipboard to make it work for you. The 'Christmas' in this title comes from the below 'Christmas Angel' title.

Thanks for calling past and we hope you are enjoying this months new releases.

October 7th

Tess here today to share some of the new titles or key words that have been uploaded to the Words or Whatever website. What I love most about these words are that you don't have to think too hard to come up with a page title, and they beat the same old alphas page in page out! They make the finishing touches quick and easy.
This is amazeballs
Using light wood veneer title

This title comes in a light wood veneer and it has been left raw on this page.

Here is another page showing how easy it is to add a Words or Whatever title to a page to finish it off.

2 the moon and back
Using light wood veneer title

The light wood veneer title was a great addition to this page and the colours tie in with the browns and golds.

Hey there, Jo stepping in for a moment :)
I agree with Tess 100% about the ease of use with these new titles... sooo easy, adaptable and economical!

There are plenty of new items that have been uploaded to the website this month, including a new selection of these titles. All of these are available through your local scrap store.
