Playing with Micro Beads.....

Hello scrappy peeps!!

Kel back again to share another creation with you today :)

I have had a play with some micro beads, which look like this.....

You can get them in a variety of colours, so you will be able to get whatever colour you like, that would most suit your layout. I have altered the 'Elegant Gates' ( C1486.) which look like this...

The best way I found to use these was to empty the beads into a container, then grab a spoon.

Next grab a strong liquid adhesive and in small sections, add the glue to the chipboard. Next, hold your chipboard above the container and use a spoon to sprinkle the beads onto the chipboard. NOTE: DO NOT let the spoon touch the glue on your chipboard or the beads will stick together and you will end up with big clumps of beads :/

Your chipboard piece should now look like this...

The beads give a nice, rougher looking texture the chipboard, a great way to add more dimension to your pages.

The next chipboard piece I used on my page was the title..'and they lived happily ever after.' (C1208.)
I painted this, then added dimensional magic.

And now I best share the completed page....

I hope I have encouraged you to have fun and give this technique a try...... I'm sure I will be adding some more micro beads to my stash ;)

Thanks for visiting
Kel :)
