August New Release - Monique

Hi Everyone,
Monique here with some more samples of how you can use the beautiful August Release Chipboard from WOW - Words Or Whatever.

Firstly, Here is my layout "Vintage Pedal Car" with a gorgeous 12"x12" Decorative Circle Frame WOW 1575  and some of the Mini Cog Pack WOW 1568, to add a touch of Steampunk....  I've used Ranger Perfect Pearls in Biscotti on the Frame, and then Copper Perfect Pearls on the Cogs.

The photo is of Connor in his Pop's Vintage Pedal Car - a highlight of Connor's visits to his Grandparents house!
Here is a close up of the gorgeous lustre the Perfect Pearls give the chipboard:

The next layout I am sharing is one titled "King Of The Mountain."  It is a photo of Connor taken recently at Black's Beach, where we spent an afternoon exploring and climbing on the rocks.  I took this after Connor said "Look Mum, I'm King of the Mountain!"  So of course I just had to take a picture!
I have used the Tropical Leaves Pack WOW 1571, which went pefectly with the Fancy Pants Wave Searcher paper range I used.  I wanted to give a shabby, beachy feel to this layout, so I inked the chipboard leaves in Distress Ink - Shabby Shutters, then used Distress Embossing Powder - Antique Linen to give rough texture to the chipboard.

Finally, I am sharing a vintage layout I created to show how much Connor and his Dad are alike - as babies, it is hard to tell them apart...lol.
I have used a gorgeous Decorative Clock WOW 1574, which I simply inked in Prima Chalk Ink - Old Road.

Well, that is it from me - hope I've inspired you to use different techniques with your chipboard.  There are a whole range of mediums out there that allow you to add colour, texture, sheen and glimmer to your chipboard.
Have fun - experiment and play!!!
