AltaMATZ & Chipboard! OMG!

Hi all its Em here, guess what I got to play with?? yep the new AltaMATZ!!!! You are really going to love this new product from WOW!!  today I am sharing a step by step using WOW AltaMATZ & of course WOW chipboard!

Start off with a piece of cardstock & your AltaMATZ pattern, here I am using 6x6 narrow chevron (ALTA023) its in store now!!

1

Use your AltaMATZ & paint to paint your pattern, let paint dry.

2

Cut pattern paper 1 to 17cmsx11.5cms tearing the bottom and ink edges.  Adhere to page roughly 6cms from left hand side & 9cms from top of cardstock.

3

cut pattern paper 2, 17cmsx7cm also tearing the bottom, ink the edges & adhere to page on top of pp1 roughly 4.5cms from left hand side & 17.5cms from top of cardstock.

4

I have used a 4x6 photo with a border, ink edges & adhere to page on top of PP roughly 1/2 cm from left hand side and top of pp1.

5

Take your WOW chipboard flourish, here I have used the CHLOE flourish (C1182) & paint, ink or spray as desired.  I’ve sprayed it with tattered angels Jazz Blue glimmer mist.

6

I also gave the flourish a coat of FOLKART – papier glass finish. leave to dry or do what I did and help it along with a hairdryer or heat gun.

7

When dry adhere to the page, under the photo with some of the flourish overlapping your photo.

9

Take your WOW chippy birdcage (C303) and colour as desired, I have used a pale pink paint on mine.

8

Adhere to right of photo just about the flourish.  I also added a WOW chippy bird from the small bird pack (C999), I coloured it with texta & outlined in white and used puffy tape to adhere it to the birdcage.

10

Finish your layout by adding any other embellishments, a title and any journaling you may like.

Here is my finished layout.
