Memories ...

Hi Everyone - Sandra Wilkinson here, and this is my first post on the WOW blog.   I'd like to share an OTP that I created for my son with the help of chipboard from WOW.

My son loves to keep every little thing that he draws, makes, gets from friends and finds at school. I'm fast running out of places to put them, and encourage mostly that they are not kept at all!!  I have a little solution for some little treasures. I've suggested that this is used for cards, invitations or drawings that just can't be binned.

It's just a shoebox with a hinged lid which I painted and coved in all those left over foam thickers I had.  I used the WOW chipboard 'abc123' which really suited my "School Memory Box" theme.   I've heat embossed the chippy with white embossing powder (a couple of coats) and then used Tim Holtz Alcohol Inks to colour the letters.  I've used my Spellbinders Labels #7 to create the little book and have found some other schoolish embellishments - cap, bike and abc charm, staples, peg and measuring tape.

The chipboard comes as a single piece - abc123 - but I wanted to cut it to suit the placement. It really is so easy to cut to suit any project size.
